Employment

help EmploymentHello, my name is David Mispilkin. In 1996, I started building above ground pools; just two guys in a rusty truck with some shovels and a wheel barrow. Now, 1000’s of pools later, we use bobcats and laser tools to make the job easier, but we still hire the same type of employees. We are willing to train people with the following:

Youthful energy, Diligence, Reliability, Discipline, Athleticism

Truck/ SUV (for foremen): Usually the pools are on site, but sometimes we do deliver the pool boxes. Otherwise you need space to carry: a tool box, patio blocks, shovels, rake and drills.

North Shore Pool Builders Inc. builds above ground pools all over Middlesex, Essex and Southern Rockingham County. We install pools sold from Local retailers all across this region. The work is done with mostly 2-3 man crews: One foreman/captain and one-two helpers/laborers. We build pools April- September. A crew can build one or two pools per day.

Money: Laborers $300-600/week. Foremen/Captain $500-1000/week.

Simple: We assemble parts from kits. The work is repetitive and you can sharpen your skills quickly.

Rewarding: You can run your own crew at a young age and not have a boss over your shoulder. It’s satisfying to be responsible for an entire job that you do all on your own. Everybody loves the pool guy. You bring the fun to a customer in 1 day.

It’s the perfect job: You and your buddy, flip flops allowed with a radio. Work out and get a tan.

  • If you blew a tire in the rain on the way to building a pool: Would you?
  • Schedule an appointment with a repair facility and reschedule the pool for a more convenient day.
  • Call for a ride and go home.
  • Push the wheelbarrow and the tools to the pool site.
  • Call the customer and the office to let them know you're delayed. Change the tire with the spare or get another. Arrive to the site just as the rain starts to slow. After- all I′m used to playing sports in the rain. Finish the pool and call the office for you next job tomorrow. Make everyone happy, develop grit and make money.
  • If a part is missing from the pool kit you would?
  • Go home and wait until the customer calls back.
  • Make a new part out of scrap metal in the customer's shed.
